INFOworks Educational Services Inc. Canada is an authorized representative for a designated number of schools in China - Beijing, Chengdu, Fuzhou, Weifang, including educational jurisdictions under the mandate of local and municipal education bureaus.
Recruitment Needs
We are currently recruiting on behalf of our clients in China, Canadian teachers of English (Native Speakers) to help Chinese students gain confidence in using conversational and oral communication skills. Most students have adequate training in reading and writing English but since the majority is not immersed in an English-speaking environment - most struggle with the spoken word.
The age of the students varies. Most are enrolled in primary and middle schools – equivalent to our kindergarten to grade 12 inclusive. In limited situations, teachers may be required for post-secondary levels and pre-university preparation and study programs.
Do I Qualify?
Academic and Professional Qualifications
As a minimum, schools require an undergraduate degree from an accredited university.
ESL qualifications are a definite asset but not required in all situations.
Add the following to the "mix"" and you have the ingredients for ensuring success:

Patience, persistence, curiosity and ingenuity and a sense of humour.
Placement Information & Length of the Assignments
Most schools in China prefer to hire teachers on the basis of a one-year contract. Shorter terms assignments – one semester (5 - 6 months) may be available but the incentives, terms & conditions vary and the choices are more limited.
