November 15th, 2006

On Wednesday November 15th, representatives of the Beijing Shunxin Agriculture Company Ltd. and their associates will visit the campus of the University of Guelph, Ontario Canada. Beijing Shunxin Agriculture Co., Ltd., established in 1998, is principally engaged in the production and sale of spirits and vegetable and fruit juices, the processing of pork and the raising of livestock.

The Beijing Group wishes to focus their visit on the Agriculture and Food Communities that make up the University of Guelph/Ontario Agriculture College, "a global leader in innovative life sciences education and research for environment, agriculture, food and rural communities."

Mr. Hou Yali. General Manager, Beijing Shunxin Agriculture Co., Ltd. and his associates are expressedly interested in learning more about the aspects of the university program that will help them to gain a better understanding of the ”science and business of agriculture, from plant and animal biology and production techniques to business management and marketing. Given the size of their business operation in Beijing and the need to stay current with important trends in their industry, the Beijing group sees this brief visit as the beginning of a "knowledge journey". Part of their “knowledge journey includes the opportunity to visit our cultural and historic site visits but the visit to Guelph is most important in that it could open the door to future cooperation with the university and lead to opportunities for greater and more enhanced communication.

The group travels to Montreal and Vancouver following their brief stay in Ontario and then on the 19th of November return back to Beijing, China.
